Twain - This artist captivated me with his uncanny wit and southern charm. Also, I must admit, his wild hair and eyebrows were delightful to paint.
Cash - This piece was a commission. I researched my subject by watching all of the video of his performances that I could find. I also listened to Cash as I painted. I stepped into the man and was, at times, overwhelmed with what I found.
Beethoven - My mother adored music. She taught me to play the beautiful Mason & Hamlin grand piano my dad had given her. I enjoyed listening to my mother play Beethoven's masterpieces. Our family had Beethoven's portrait hanging in the living roon. We were all music lovers. I was intrigued by the musician's rugged good looks. I love this great talent.
